In 1959, a determined man by the name of Vern Schield began a journey to heal our world. 60 years later, his idea has transformed into the Waverly community helping people help themselves in Ghana and Nicaragua. Join us for an evening of celebrating 60 years of Self-Help International and the people who have given their time and resources to improve lives with dignity. Together, we can heal our world. Enjoy a delectable buffet dinner, an auction, socializing with Self-Help friends, and more! Come together as a community and reminisce about the 60-year legacy of Self-Help International. As it’s an evening event, cocktail attire is preferred. If you’re having trouble deciding, suits and ties for gentlemen and cocktail dresses for the ladies is perfect.
