LAGSRIDE Brings Clean Water to Hundreds of Families!

My sincere gratitude to all who joined in the fun on the second annual LAGSRIDE Poker Run to benefit Self-Help International. In addition to having a great day for a bike ride and lots of fun along the way, we raised enough to bring clean water to two more villages in rural Nicaragua!

In Nicaragua, 60% of children under the age of 5 have been treated for diarrhea in the past two weeks alone due to unsafe drinking water. These illnesses are completely preventable by installing a simple PVC chlorination system.
